Pakistan’s pink salt industry entered September 2026 with strong export-volume growth but weaker value realization. During FY2025-26, Pakistan exported approximately 148,071 MT worth US$36 million, compared with 127,924 MT worth US$35 million a year earlier. Export volume increased around 15.7%, while value rose only 2.9%, highlighting the need to move beyond low-value bulk exports.
