Core import & trade portfolio
Botanical identity, style, size, density, defects and chemical characteristics differ by product. Final acceptance follows the signed specification, approved sample, agreed laboratory method and inspection scope.
Selected for characteristic aroma, intact heads, sound colour and low defect levels. Headless cloves, stems, foreign matter, moisture and volatile oil are controlled through the contract and approved sample.
Whole black pepper graded by bulk density, light berries, cleanliness and sensory profile. Codex recognizes minimum bulk-density bands by class; 570 g/L is a premium trade target subject to lot testing.
Whole pods selected by size, colour, maturity, seed fill, aroma and defect tolerance. Green appearance alone is not proof of grade; moisture, ash, volatile oil and physical defects require agreed sampling and test methods.
Ceylon cinnamon and cassia are distinct products and must be identified by species and origin. Quill form, bark thickness, moisture, ash, volatile oil and any destination-specific coumarin requirement are agreed before supply.
Commercial operating models
AGE's role and contractual responsibility are stated clearly in each transaction; facilitation is not represented as ownership of goods or guaranteed payment protection unless the signed structure expressly provides it.
Connect approved exporters, importers and serious buyers with supplier identity checks, specification alignment, document review, payment-risk controls and logistics coordination. Contracting parties, beneficiary and inspection responsibility are confirmed before payment.
Evaluate direct imports of premium whole spices for wholesale distribution, cleaning, grinding or blending through approved food-processing facilities. Zaiqa Masala and other private-label retail programs remain subject to production readiness, food registration, packaging compliance and market availability.

Black-pepper Grade I references Codex CXS 326-2017. Small-cardamom Codex CXS 357-2024 allows 13% moisture, 9.5% total ash and 3.5 ml/100g volatile oil for whole product; the 8% ash and 4 ml/100g values above are stricter buyer targets. All dry-basis calculations and test methods must match.
Commercial terms & quality assurance
No single container payload or food-safety limit applies to every spice and destination. AGE confirms the product-specific load plan, laboratory schedule, import permits and required certificates before contracting.
Payload depends materially on spice density, bag dimensions, palletization, container type and carrier limits. LCL or consolidated supply may be evaluated where commercially available.
Buyer-approved SGS, Cotecna, Intertek or another independent inspector may be appointed for the agreed scope. Laboratory testing can cover moisture, ash, volatile oil, aflatoxins, pesticide residues and microbiology as product and destination require. Payment may use L/C at sight or mutually agreed T/T terms, including 50/50 where accepted.

Share product and botanical identity, whole or ground style, grade or size, density, moisture and oil targets, quantity, packing, destination, private-label need and required laboratory tests. AGE will review supplier identity, sample, food-safety controls, documents and shipment terms before issuing an offer.
Classification note: Pakistan's FY 2025–26 tariff distinguishes whole and ground forms. Relevant PCT codes include 0904.1110 / 0904.1200 for black pepper, 0906.1100 / 0906.1900 / 0906.2000 for cinnamon, 0907.1000 / 0907.2000 for cloves and 0908.3120 / 0908.3200 for small cardamom. Customs duty, sales tax, regulatory duty, exemptions, permits and destination treatment must be confirmed from the actual product and current rules before filing.
Food-safety note: Aflatoxin is only one risk. Pesticide residues, heavy metals, microbiological criteria, Salmonella controls, adulteration, allergens, irradiation or treatment declarations, traceability and labelling can also apply. Inspection is arranged when agreed; it is not automatically represented as completed for every batch.
