Commercial grade families

Select by process, not by name alone.

MFR is only one selection parameter. The final grade must also match stiffness, impact, additives, optics, food-contact or medical requirements and processing equipment.

Regular Sourcing · Grade & Availability

PP Raffia / Tape Grade

Polymer family
Homopolymer PP-H
MFR profile
Typically 2.5–3.5 g/10 min

Selected for stable tape extrusion, drawability and tensile performance in woven sacks, FIBC fabric, agricultural packaging, ropes, twines and baler tape.

Regular Sourcing · Grade & Availability

PP Injection Moulding

Polymer family
Homopolymer / impact copolymer
MFR profile
Low to high-flow options

Grades matched to stiffness, impact balance, cycle time and dimensional stability for housewares, furniture, crates, pallets, battery cases and industrial parts.

Regular Sourcing · Grade & Availability

PP Film Grade

Polymer family
BOPP / CPP / IPP application
MFR profile
Process-specific selection

Film grades selected for optics, draw stability, barrier, slip/antiblock package and sealing structure in flexible packaging, lamination, tape and textile-wrap applications.

Regular Sourcing · Grade & Availability

PP Fibre / Spunbond Grade

Polymer family
Fibre and non-woven applications
MFR profile
Typically medium to high flow

Grades selected for drawability, thermal stability and consistent spinning in spunbond non-wovens, staple fibre, yarn and carpet-related applications.

Producer sourcing: recognized producer portfolios—including SABIC, Borouge, LOTTE Chemical, Petro Rabigh, S-OIL and other approved origins—may be evaluated through available supply channels. A producer relationship or allocation is confirmed only through the actual offer and seller authorization.

Indicative screening comparison

Datasheet controls the contract

The bands below are useful for preliminary grade screening only. They are not universal specifications and must be replaced by the selected producer’s current technical datasheet and certificate of analysis.

Sourcing & logistics

Grade-locked supply to Pakistan industry.

Pakistan’s converting sector is materially dependent on imported polymer feedstock, but current demand and import share must be supported by current trade data rather than historical estimates.

Indicative load plan

20 ft FCLApprox. 16.5–17.5 MT
40 ft / HC FCLApprox. 25–26 MT

Final payload depends on palletization, bag dimensions, container type and carrier limits.

Packaging & routing

  • Standard: 25 kg producer bags
  • Bulk option: approx. 1,000 kg FIBC where offered
  • Pakistan: Karachi Port or Port Qasim
  • Distribution: buyer-nominated industrial destination

Commercial basis

CFR or CIF Karachi / Port Qasim and suitable FOB-origin offers can be evaluated. Payment may be structured through an irrevocable L/C at sight or mutually approved T/T terms under the signed contract.

Classification note: Pakistan’s FY 2025–26 tariff lists Polypropylene under PCT 3902.1000 and Propylene Copolymers under PCT 3902.3000, each shown with 0% customs duty in that tariff. Other taxes, regulatory duties, anti-dumping measures, exemptions or SRO conditions may still apply. Final classification and landed-tax treatment must be confirmed by the appointed customs agent before filing.
